Front Desk Administrator - Washington DC

A Front Desk Administrator is needed to address the operations of this busy office while supporting the team as required.  The ideal candidate for this position will be flexible and enjoy a busy, professional environment.  The right candidate will be eager to support the staff by greeting clients, scheduling meetings, and completing various tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

This position requires excellent phone etiquette, strong communication and administrative skills, and a comfort level with meeting and greeting visitors.  The right candidate will be detail oriented, capable of multi-tasking and a team player. Some prior front desk experience would be helpful, but not necessary.

Responsibilities include:

  • Meet and Greet visitors – Front desk presence

  • Support senior management with travel arrangements, scheduling/calendaring, etc.

  • Administrative support for staff as required

  • Coordinating conference room and meetings

  • Complete specific forms/packages as required

  • Data Entry

  • Maintain the company filing system, both paper and electronic

  • Distribute mail


  • Professional demeanor

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Internet skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and high-level accuracy with documents

  • Flexible in daily routine; ability to prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities

  • Team player, customer service oriented

  • Extremely organized

  • Good time management skills
