Office Manager - DC Metro Region
A successful company is seeking an experienced Office Manager to address the operational aspects of the office and coordinate processes to promote an efficient and effective working environment. The candidate selected for this role will provide hands-on oversight and management for administrative activities of multiple departments. Working with the management team, the office manager will ensure all administrative functions of the office run smoothly.
Assist senior management with administrative tasks as needed
Managing office products and supplies
Maintaining phone and voicemail system
Managing office calendar
Assist with special projects and events
Greeting clients, vendors and visitors
Administering overhead and travel expense vouchers for management
Creating and manage various spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
Responsible for all facility issues
Working with recruiter to coordinate new hire start dates and on-boarding new employees
Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of experience
Proven technical skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task
Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills
Highly detail-oriented and motivated self-starter able to deal with change
Experience creating, writing, reviewing and editing Standard Operating Procedures
Proactive approach to solving and preventing problems with a willingness to elevate problems to appropriate level quickly and assertively
Experience with managing or leading administrative support staff preferred
Flexible 'can do' attitude
Strong initiative and desire to work in a team-oriented environment
