Administrative Assistant - Washington DC area

We are looking for an administrative assistant for a successful company in the Washington, DC area.  Our client is looking for a professional individual who is well organized and enjoys interfacing with people on the phone and in person.  The successful candidate will have mastered multi-tasking, have the ability to deliver to deadlines, work efficiently and is excellent with their time management. Responsibilities:

  • Provide general office support

  • Answer and direct phone calls

  • Support various departments as required

  • Enter data into spreadsheets and presentations

  • Make travel arrangements

  • Process invoices and expense reports

  • Set up conference rooms for meetings

  • Order catering and materials for company meetings

  • Distribute mail

 Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree preferred, but not necessary

  • 2-3 years of previous office experience, internships included

  • Proficient in MS Office, to include Word, Excel

  • Professional demeanor

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Detail oriented

  • Proven work ethic

  • Motivated to learn and grow with the company
