Front Desk Administrator - Non Profit

Does serving a worthy cause and making a difference while earning a living sound appealing?  If so, we have the position for you.  We are currently seeking Front Desk Administrator candidates for a non-profit organization. 

This position provides administrative support to employees and customers in a busy office.  The role involves multiple administrative duties including answering phones, scheduling and filing. When guests and clients walk into the office, our client wants them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand.  The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet clients and guests visiting the office

  • Manage office inventory and order supplies as needed

  • Answer telephone, screen and direct calls; take and relay messages

  • Schedule meetings

  • Coordinate events

  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries

  • File necessary documents

  • Maintain organized records

  • Tidy and maintain the office as needed

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support

  • Other duties as assigned

Job requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of administrative work in a professional environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment  

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Must be able to interact positively and cooperatively with individuals at all levels over the phone

  • Strong attention to detail
